Each piece in this collection highlights a different aspect of my craft, from the flow of a hand-turned bowl to the bold lines of a free-form sculpture. Although my style and technique are constantly evolving; these works reflect the heart of what I do, shaped by reclaimed wood and inspired by the natural world around me. No two are alike, each with its own story to tell.

Although I always have good intentions of keeping my online store stocked the great majority of my work sells in person at art shows. Please feel free to contact me to discuss a piece you saw in person or a design you have in mind. I always have pieces in various stages of completion or may have something available that has not made it to a show or on to the website yet.

Eric Helland is a Northern Minnesota artist who creates contemporary wooden bowls, sculptures, and free forms by hand. His work is rooted in reclaimed materials and guided by the natural shape and character of each piece of wood.
