~Heirloom Quality Cribbage Bowls~
This beautifully grained Silver Maple Cribbage Bowl features two resin tracks accommodating two or four players paired. Decorative and functional card slot runs the circumference of the bowl enabling players to see each other's cards over the bowl. Recessed bottom allows for cards to sit under bowl for storage. Unique bowl design is perfect for a coffee table display and can hold your crib or family game night snacks!
Play requires one revolution around the 120 holes and peg out with 121. Skunk lines are marked in gold and every 5 holes are marked in white for easy pegging.
Wood is finished with a food safe butcher block conditioner (mineral oil/beeswax), which can be reapplied as needed and is readily available online and at local stores.
Measures 13 3/16 wide x 4 5/8 high x 2 9/16 bowl depth.
Artist signature and piece detail is on the bottom of the bowl.

I'm not a production turner; I do not use automated machinery. Each bowl starts as a locally sourced log, before being roughed out with the chainsaw and bandsaw then receives an initial turn on the lathe. Bowls of this size can take up to two years to dry before being turned again, pouring the resin track, meticulously hand sanding and finishing.
I sand the majority of my pieces to at least 1000 grit and do go up to 3000 grit with some of my darker colored woods. The smooth finish allows you to simply wipe as needed with a dry cloth, chemical cleaners should never be needed in general care.
